    The Hydralisk opens it's upper caparace to reveal a bunch of spines, that are thrown at incredible speed, and can penetrate even neosteel. That's how they attack. It can be seen on the WC3 Hydralisk.
    On SC, they look and sound like they just spit acid, but the manual gives the above explanation.
    Yes, it's kinda retarded that they don't move straight. They should be like bullets, as the speed is probably similar.

    What about the leaving of the corpses on the field more time??? or maybe just the blood???on the clip they are dissapearring in few seconds. Anyone have info what blizz is planning on this.

    Corpses = more data = lag. Corpses will not remain in melee games. However, they will stay longer in campaign and for UMS.
