I don't know if what I saw was an old replay. But did you know that when a queen makes a creep tumor, when you click on the creep tumor, it has an ablility to make another?
I thought that was really cool.

Yep, I have messed with peoples expansions using that ability.

Yeah
That ability as present since day 1 of beta ^^ I've seen it used quite a lot in 2v2's. Theyre pretty nifty, and from what I heard, they're "cloaked"; you need detectors to kill them (?) Can anyone confirm?

I love it as well, it makes it very convenient for your ground units to move about at top speed (notably Zerglings and Hydralisks).
Though, I don't find myself using it often in a ZvZ...

Yes, you can potentially spawn an infinite number of creep tumors from a single creep tumor, but there are some limitations:
-after you build the tumor, there is a cooldown before it can build another (30 seconds i think)
-The tumor has a limited radius in which it can build another tumor (approx. pylon power area)
-You must have sight to where you are placing down a new tumor.

Also, on the technical side, a Creep Tumor requires 1 square placement and allows any ground unit to walk through it (like Larva and Egg) once it completes.
Therefore, you'll find it better to use Crawlers to wall instead of a Tumor wall :P (yes you, KDraconis!!)

You gotta be kidding me...you mean I've wasted all that Queen energy making new tumors when the tumors themselves could have made new ones?!?!
....well no wonder I always lose as Zerg
