    hahahahahahhahahahahahahhahhahahahahahahahhahaaha

It's not she wanting to change back to human form, it might be Raynor wanting to change her

In fact, i wonder if that's even possible by now.

I certainly don't have a master on genetics, but if they use a virus to completely change someone's DNA, how are you going to set it back to what it was? You don't even have that information. That is... unless you happend to have that information, or some DNA sample from before the change.

I hope they kill any chance of Jim/Kerrigan romance right here and now .

After Kerrigan killed Fenix, Raynor said: "It may not be tomorrow, darlin'. It may not even happen with an army at my back. But rest assured: I'm the man who's going to kill you some day."

Having said something so hardcore, I don't think it'd be right for Kerrigan's tale to end any other way than being killed by Raynor .

I am very doubtful that it will really happen, but it's certainly possible, the Xel'naga have such control over the biology of living things they could almost certainly take out all her Zerg parts.

Any faction that can control the Zerg in any way would have serious motivation to do so, it's possible she can be reincarnated now so actually killing her could be more difficult than just undoing her infestation, and removing her control over the swarm. 10 billion Zerg would go a long way to further anyone's goals.

Since Sarah Kerrigan's past will be explored in Wings of Liberty, that might be her turning into an infested terran, rather than the reverse.

    2) Some people don't like Infested Kerrigan being in charge of the zerg - as a former human, she doesn't necessarily compare favorably to the Overmind. (They'd rather have cerebrates or the Overmind who cannot interact with the environment [can't fight] or with non-zerg characters.) A lot of people are misinformed about her motivations as well, thinking she's only interested in hurting Arcturus Mengsk. However, Shadow Hunters proved the lie to that statement; there are millions of StarCraft fans, but only thousands of books get sold, so what can you expect?

    3) Some people like Jim Raynor/Kerrigan, which won't happen if Kerrigan remains infested. (IMO, even if Kerrigan can be made human again, Raynor won't forgive her. She killed Fenix of her own volition. The Overmind wasn't pulling her strings.)

first of all can even that happen?
Yes it can. New nanite technology makes that possible.

the overmind greatest achiement if im not misstaken.... why would it let kerrigan have a chance of returning to human form?
It's dead. What can it do now?

and second why would she wanna go to weaking human form? she seems "happy"the way she is, cant get fucked or tricked by anyone now shes the one who fuckes everybody else over.
Assuming it even happens, what makes you think it would be by choice?

I agree. But I hope they do it in such a way that both can have some kind of closure...rather than just "I hate you Kerrigan! I hope you burn in Hell! yada yada yada."

The most tragic ending (and what I would consider the quintessential "Blizzard" ending) would be to have Raynor mortally wound Kerrigan in some way and then have her human side reassert itself somewhat. Something that takes a little while to die from...

Before she actually dies...she has reverted back to almost completely human form. And she lives long enough for both of them to say goodbye. Not a happy ending. A Blizzard ending.

    Just my two cents...

But Stukov was recently infested by a Cerebrate, maybe he had still unmodified human DNA somewhere.

If someone's DNA is completely modified on all cells, and you don't have the information to restore the DNA to it's previous form, there should be no way to do it, as you don't know how it was. How are you supposed to restore it?

He was running his own brood. He'd hatched out of a cocoon. He would have been as infested as Kerrigan when she emerged out of her cocoon.

You're trying to make sense of zerg and protoss DNA modification? Perhaps the zerg just "graft on" extra DNA to what's already there, without taking anything away (unless there's a very good reason to).
