Thread: Kerrigan why?

It would probably be a lot better for Kerrigan if she 'died' in the sense of losing her personality in the process of becoming a new overmind.

Probably in HotS... in WoL she gets badly damaged/set back/weakened and in HotS she claims her true power as an embodiment of the overmind

    No, that would a fail...

Kerrigan, even mutated, is still human. She's just mutated human with some abilities add to her. Becoming overmind means to transform to something else. Like becoming a zealot.

Talking about Kerrigan and her betrayals. She's still young, and what's more, she was betrayed so many times, she's constantly trembling with fear that someone do that again and she's convinced that will happen.
I think, the real reason, she's clinging so much to power and betrayed her allies is, she's to afraid to believe anyone again, so she's just rejecting everyone, before they can hurt her.
Fix that, give her some wisdom, and she can be your number one good character again.
    She's just broken, not bad.

Come on! Why so many people want her to die?! Why so many people hate her being de infested?

She's just a broken girl with outstanding powers! Not some magical great great evil that will destroy the universe!

Well, I'm pretty much in the boat that doesn't like such a menacing alien race controlled by some infested turned ho who is now bordering on Overpowered (being able to fight Zeratul and Tassadar at the same time). But eh, what can you do. I really hope she dies. That's one thing I love about the SC universe. Even though they have many characters who play main roles, they kill them off just as easily. It makes the universe feel more dark, realistic (cept Raynor who has plot armour all around him, apparently).

Well anyway, here's hoping to Raynor putting a good bullet between her eyes. Or if not, here's hoping she dies some how.

Kerrigan may be reincarnated as cerebrate so I think that although Raynor was shot in the head, did not change anything, besides that she probably should have an amazing regeneration

A zealot is more like a human than Kerrigan is
by 'becoming an overmind' I don't mean changing her physical structure (necessarily)
but changing her personality so that she is trully 'one' with the Swarm, so that the purity of essence is recaptured.

That would be an Epic Fail. That storyline might work with Mensk. But Kerrigan's story line is tied into the story line of the Zerg.

The Zerg need to be bad, not 'broken'. And not a sadistic type of bad, but an uncaring type of bad, treating everything in the universe as something to be assimilated into the Swarm.

That is what Kerrigan's story line needs to be she needs to lose her 'caring' her feeling.. she needs to become a non-person... that is how she should die.

Perhaps her 'Kerrigan body' will be killed and she'll be reincarnated in a more overmind like fashion (that being the final step... she will actually thank Raynor for killing her and allowing her to truly become one with the swarm)

    Now THAT would be epic.
A plot curve that isn't too trite and actually makes sense.

Very funny description of Kerrigan. Anyways, I too agree that she is overpowered. Kerrigan may have been the best Ghost at the time and may have been elevated in power due to her genetic altering but to take on two experienced Protoss, especially one who has had centuries of training and experience 'under his belt', is ridiculous.

Then again I am of the opinion that the novel Queen of Blades should be burned with fire. Lots of fire.

The Overmind made the Zerg Swarm feel like an immense threat. Kerrigan as the leader of the Swarm makes me imagine a picture of a little girl throwing temper-tantrums around her toys.

I hope she not only dies but suffers tremendously in the process.

And yeah, Raynor definitely has uber plot protection. He may as well have Power Overwhelming right now.

Don't change Kerrigan back, thats a weak storyline.

Changing her back is stupid, in my opinion, and it will also infuriate a good deal of people - both Queen of Blades fans and Protoss fans who want her dead. Kerrigan must die for her crimes. If she lives or is de-infested, I will be disappointed.
