Can anyone confirm that this was from the Beta? I think this definitely means population has been retconned.......

It's in the beta, for the Metalopolis map. I can't say for sure that's Korhal yet though; there's a problem with people uploading images without sources (or, more to the point, how they extracted the info; I'm seeing nothing in the map loading screens/descriptions).

And yes, Blizzard did say Korhal would have a city tileset, rather than a desert tileset now.

Kimera757 did say it comes with the Metalopoplis map, so Im pretty sure its not a protoss planet. I doubt a Protoss city planet would look like that anyway.

There are destructible Mengsk Statues (with different hit point values) in Metalopolis, not to mention obvious terran building doodads. It's definitely not a protoss planet.

With that said, its a Terran planet. I do hope they have a Protoss city tileset.

Shouldn't Korhal look rougher? Maybe they terraformed post-bombardment, but last I remember Korhal wasn't just a dessert, it was a crater-ridden dessert, that planet looks smooth as a babies butt.

Terrans are big bad Terra-forming humans. They do blow up planets in terra-forming disasters.
