    Acceleration is a part of overall speed. If she is running away from something it will take her forever to speed up to her max speed. And now she has deceleration which will make her slow down as she gets to where you sent her. This along with the nerf to shields and health make it extremely vulnerable.

    How? The Banshee is pretty late-tech. Ghost cloaking comes way sooner.
    I just have a feeling its going to be abused.

    Heh, I think we're starting to see what it must have been like for the dev team for the past 2 years or so. New drastic changes every week, gravely affecting the outcome of games. Suddenly the beta is losing some of its appeal

    But the amount of time it takes her to get from point A to point B isn't any longer, or at least won't be dramatically longer. The biggest difference here is you won't be able to micro her in a fight. Which isn't really the point of the unit. I think she's just being used in a way that Blizzard didn't intend. In fact that's what they repeatedly advertised the Mothership as NOT being. The whole idea of the Mothership being a one-woman army that can harass a mineral line. Mothership rushes too.

    The build-time increase looks drastic but really they're changing it from 60 to 90. Not 120 to 180. Who doesn't use Chrono-boost to get their Mothership?

    I still think they should give Wormhole transit a cast-time and bring back it's original spell-set, though.

    I just have a feeling its going to be abused.
    Well of course it will be. But that's no different from any other unit that cloaks.

    when beta was released

    gateways built in 50 and barracks were 65?


    Does not compute. But that doesn't matter, it's all good now

    Hmmm, strange to me that they would decrease the duration of Chrono boost and not the percentage. Still I expect numbers with the macro mechanics to be played around with.

    Same with the Mothership, thats gonna go through at least 40 more changes. I trust Blizzard on things like balance. Spells are another story.
