I think all the Zerg voices are crap, especially including the Overmind replacement.

It figures that they finally give us a game that's relatively balanced at the very beginning of beta, but has a collection of mediocre unit sounds built into it.
Art and sound work as always been near flawless in Blizzard games. Balance always came later. I'm starting to think that maybe Blizzard has gotten rusty at making their RTS games ever since they have unleashed WoW on the world.
The only reason I'm worried that the sound work will bring the game down away from a state of perfection is that I'm expecting that they have put A LOT of effort into the single player campaign. I'm worried because if they have put a lot of effort into the single player campaign and it ends up being a very short 27-29 mission experience, I will have a sour taste in my mouth before entering B-net. Knowing that they didn't put their best effort into the soundscape and having to force myself to listen to mediocre unit voices for the next year or so of my life will make me a cranky dude.![]()

I'm pretty sure that most of the sounds are just place holders, or at least I hope thats what it is.The only reason I'm worried that the sound work will bring the game down away from a state of perfection is that I'm expecting that they have put A LOT of effort into the single player campaign. Why? It's an "annoyed" sound. It's not like there's a whole lot you can do with annoyed Zerg sounds. Throwing in a fart is at least creative.that's the bullshit .. What a disgusting voice, certainly must be a joke.

Throwing in a fart is low-class humor designed to amuse pre-pubescent boys. Unless you happen to be one of those fans of lower bodily functions being used as humor, there's no point to this.
There are millions of animal species on this planet that can provide sound inspiration for an annoyed creature. Reducing a creature that is supposed to invoke nightmares down to this level is not humorous in the least.
