Finally got around to watching these...very entertaining. I especially liked how you summarized it with the last two paragraphs. Looking forward to future PP reports in SC2.

I've been out of the game for some time now, though I still enjoy watching the gods at work every now and then. But it makes me miss the finer points sometimes. Can someone please explain what the 'cloning' was with the Yamato battle? What is cloning? If no one checks this thread anymore, I hope an admin can provide an answer.

"cloning" is when you have a big group of units with a single-target ability, and you micro the ability so that each one hits a different unit, but they all go off at pretty much the same time. No, I don't know why it's called "cloning" either.

It's probably called cloning because it makes use of the shift deselect to give the exact same command to the rest of your units and then rinse and repeat.

Most common form of cloning would be with scourge, select 10 of them, attack a science vessel, deselect 2, attack a science vessel, deselect 2, attack a science vessel etc.

So basically you're telling 10 scourges to attack a science vessel, and then you direct 8 scourges to attack a different science vessel, and then 6 to attack yet another different vessel until you have 2 scourges per vessel.
