    Default Chrono comment

So i thought I would get your thoughts on this.... I have been playing around with chrono boost and warpgates and here is what i found
    unit build times
Gateway: zealot 33 seconds w/chrono about 16 seconds
    Stalker 42 seconds w/chrono about 21 seconds
that seems normal and herein is my problem, if I immediatly switch my gateway to a warpgate AFTER I just finish building a zealot the warpgate allows me to build another zealot or stalker immediatly thus allowing me to build 2 units in way to short of a time
Example i build a zealot, as soon as the lot is done i make it a warpgate wait the 10 seconds and then warp in a zealot or stalker then make it a gateway again which only takes 2 seconds .... now if i add chrono boost into the mix it allows me to build the zealot in 16 seconds then transition to warpgate in 5 seconds and allows me to warp in another unit either a stalker or a zealot .... i then make it a gateway again and begin making another zealot .... in essince it is giving the protoss the ability to double build like the terrans ..... what do yall think?

I think if that's the case it might explain why someone was able to walk over me the other night with about a billion stalkers so quickly lol

Thanks for the tip, Taramel! I had no idea you could even do that!

I wonder if Blizzard intended it to function this way or not.

    It's a 50% increase in speed, not 100%. A 33 second zealot will take 22 seconds. A 42 second stalker will take 28 seconds.

A 50% increase in speed means something takes 2/3 the time, not 1/2.

Edit: You also forget to factor in how much it costs them every time they transition to a warpgate.

WFT??? You can switch Gateway <-> Warpgate when it's cooling down, and that cancels the cooldown??? Did i got that right???

Why don't you just use warp gates with chrono boost the entire time instead of going back to gateway?

It doesn't cost anything but time to transition.

That'd take 20 seconds anyway. To make it a gateway then make it back into a warp-gate. So... if that does remove the cooldown it's not really worth it unless you're some sort of crazy APM fiend.

I'll double check tonight but I'm pretty sure it still costs resources to transition.

Edit: That's right, it's now one cost to be able to do it and the morphing itself costs nothing.
