Well, my hype decreased, but just a little bit.
I still can't wait to get my hands on the beta.
But it does feel a little less exciting right now, since all the info about the beta is already out.

I get similar feeling for almost any game that is about to be released. In the months and weeks before a game comes out I am as excited as can be...to the point that I lose some sleep. But when it's down to mere days before release I start to lose to excitment because the wait has come to an end. Though the feeling comes back in a hurry once I start playing the game...so much so that for the RTS games I try to slow down before I rush through the game sooner than I want to. To the point I treat it like a show...aka 2 episodes (missions) a day. One in the afternoon and the other in the evening. A reason I stay out of the beta is because come release day it wont mean a thing for me since the excitment will be largely gone since I was in the beta playing the game for months. The only savior then would be the campaign.

As primarily a lore fan, nothing has changed for me.
I doubt even having access to the beta (gameplay) would change that. (The only beta videos I have lbothered looking at so far, were the unit voice acting ones)

Decreased. I still want to get into the beta like crazy but at the same time I've been as close to actually playing as you can get (watching replays with the client) and something just went away after that. I can't really explain it. I probably just know too much about the game now and all the secrets revolving around it are now known( like some mentioned). I still expect the single player mode to amaze me though.

Increased. This is going to be a very fun game. Keep in mind we have neither the single player nor the editor yet.

About the same.
Only the reasons have changed. Instead of being glued to my comp for the past three years, holding out hope for any kind Beta release info...I'm now glued to my comp, holding out hope for a comic contest win or an opt-in from Blizzard.
The flood of Beta info and replays are nice and all, but in the end, they end up being just a cruel reminder of how close, and yet, how so far away I truly am from playing the game.

I'm still pretty excited. I just finished doing this.
That's the little LCD on my G19 keyboard and the top left is my mouse, both sporting the Zerg icon. I had to bitmap the one for my mouse by hand in MS paint. Both are lit with Zerg purple.
I've kind of been avoiding the replays for exactly the reason that I don't want to burn myself out. I'm very happy that beta has started because it means we REALLY are in the home stretch. I have the client all downloaded so if I get opted in I'm ready to roll, but other than that I'm just biding my time and playing other stuff.

Little wonder. Everyone knows you mods are on Blizz's payroll.Originally Posted by Gradius

On the other hand, I know I'll enjoy playing as Terrans and Protooss, what with their new mechanics. The zerg not so much, but they'll be worked on.
Overall, decreased satisfaction and anticipation. That said, I know my social life will go down the toilet the moment I get it.
Aaand sold.
Be it through hallowed grounds or lands of sorrow
The Forger's wake is bereft and fallow
Is the residuum worth the cost of destruction and maiming;
Or is the shaping a culling and exercise in taming?
The road's goal is the Origin of Being
But be wary through what thickets it winds.

I think that the beta will really get momentum in the next few weeks, when we start to see more strategies. Right now, i think that most people just don't knows exactly what to do, and the most awesome ideas haven't surfaced yet.
A lot of games seem to end right now, because people have no anti-air when air hits, or because one of the sides is much better than the other.
