    Default 400 Zerglings (Screenshots)

A friend of mine created a computer game in which he made 400 zerglings and attacked the computer with them. Here are some screenshots of that game.

Someone was going to put the lamest AI and try that sooner or later

It's impressive how compact the Zergling mass is.

Thats what I was thinking... And btw.. The AI is like this all the time... Its like a dud in sc1... I'd think it was a bug, they make like 6 units the whole game! (not counting the 8 probes...)

Its even better in game though, watching the zerglings hop over eachother to attack the rocks, they got really compact to attack it and took them out extremely fast.

That's because it is always on "very easy". They probably want the balancing to settle down a bit before polishing the more advanced AI.

The only AI that is available right now is "Very Easy" so its no suprise that they only make 6 units.

Honestly... Its more like very very very easy... Very easy should at least make an army in 20 minutes and at least attack once...

PS: I added the replay file to the OP...

I was thinking the same thing, struck me as odd.

In the build at Blizzcon the computer would simply type gg when it knows it has lost. You were able to decide on ending the match then and there or you could continue to finish them off.

It's probably there for what it's been used: test stuff without the computer doing really anything. I agree about they waiting to see how the metagame progresses.
Hardly to do a good AI that counters what it sees, if you don't know how to counter yourself. It's also a lot of work, and nobody is likely to go and do it at every stat change.
