I hate to bring this up and I'm sure bringing this up will probably decrease my chances but what happened to the results of this contest? Beta has started, a big percentage of SCL staff already have beta keys as well (I read some even have more than 1). I just wanted to know if you had any plans on saying something about this matter.

I think SCL and others are waiting to see how many additional keys they get from Blizz before making a final decision. When and if that happens is probably an uncertainty to even them. For now it looks like nothing has manifested related to this contest.
