Even if that were true, how could that be abused? If anything, it would hinder your progression because the system would over-evaluate your skill and you would be getting fewer points from winning against equally skilled players.
If anything, such a system would encourage you to increase your efficiency, which is a good thing. Playing naturally would be advantageous.

True enough, it could be abused but really to no advantage than to go "look I'm in platinum 1v1!". Which would blow because they just get raped in that bracket and as soon as they try to play and stop spoofing the system they would get lowered to a different league.

I think you misunderstood. Despite all of these "hidden ranks and parameters", your wins and losses are still relevant. Which means that falsing your APM will never be sufficient to rank up.

In fact it's quite the opposite: if you do that your "theoretical rank" will be better than your actual skill. That means that you're more likely to lose to a player against whom you're favored, so that would greatly hinder your progression.

If you hadn't faked high APM, you wouldn't have been as favored against that player, so the loss wouldn't have hindered your progression.
The exact opposite applies to a win. If you're equally matched because you faked high rank, you'll gain less from the win than if you were the underdog (if you had kept your natural skill).

even tho the true way your being ranked and such remain hidden and hopefully will it seems that you got a bigger change to get to a higher league if u are at the top of your division in any league.
