    Default How do units control?

I know the question is a little vague, I have a specific scenario in mind:

You've got a control group of marines, ghosts, and medivacs.

When you move/attack move, do your medivacs hang with the group or do they charge ahead?

With the group selected, do you have stims and ghost abilities available on the interface, or if not, can you still hit the hotkeys for them? If neither of those, can you tab through unit types within the group a la WCIII to get to the unit specific abilities?

There is no way to tell the group to move as slow as the slowest unit, if that's what you mean. They'll all try to get there as fast as they can.

What if you have the group follow the slower-moving units?

To the OP, I can confirm that the group tabbing (shift-tab to move backwards) is present as it was in WC3. Coupled with smart-casting and unlimited unit selection, this will make for precise control for those looking to micro their units.

    No direct way.

I'm wondering about Medivac AI specifically, rather than the movement speed. If you tell the group to attack some unit/building, will the Medivacs charge right up to the unit and then stand there, like SC1 Medics? Or will they stay with the group?

They will do what you tell them to do. If you tell them to move to location X, they will move to location X. They do not have special AI to tell if they're in a group, or other such logic.
