No, killing all their workers then getting a corrupter close enough to their town hall to disable it will be hard to pull off. Corruption has like 2 range. Not that it isn't ridiculously powerful.

Surprised by? Banelings, Void Rays, Hellions, Colossi...
Disappointed in? Infestors, Corruptors, Phoenix...

I think the point is to bring the corruptor with your attack on the workers.. If you are raiding their workers, they already dont have the defense.. You simply kill as many as you can and then disable the main, then get out... or stay depending on how much additional damage you can do..
The point is to take the corruptors along.. This would work on many of the raids that zerg can do. Nydus + ground attack or Muta harass... You simply just use the corruptor as the spotter for the nydus worm placement, or take one along with the mutas. The muta harass is more of a mid game strat while the corruptor/nydus combo is probably late game.
Still, i really dont think there is any difficulty at all. The 2 range is plenty to get in and disable the main, especially if you are already killing off workers.
On the other hand, you could simply try to kill the first nexus, and take your corruptors to expansions and corrupt while the enemy is distracted.. either way I don't agree with this being difficult; as I've seen the corruptor disabling buildings effortlessly.

Yes, and Hydralisks costing more gas, more food, and being Tier 2 will change nothing about that timing attackI know it may seem like very little, but in Brood War, you could do quite an effective 3-hatch push with Hydras against Protoss before Psi Storm comes online. With this build, you'd quickly get the lvl 1 ground range attack upgrade before any other from the Evolution Chamber.
How do you know how much testing they did internally? Take Chrono Boost: we've known for months that PC was replaced with something, but we didn't learn what it was replaced with until recently. And who knows how long before they told us that they removed PC? And who knows what kind of preliminary testing they did on CB before even dropping PC to begin with? Why the hell did Blizz change SO much from the game before anyone even got to test it?
It seems like a lot of changes to us. But to them, they've probably had these for months.
Plus, Corruptors have lots of Hp.Still, i really dont think there is any difficulty at all. The 2 range is plenty to get in and disable the main, especially if you are already killing off workers.

Well, it is hard to believe their internal testing didn't notice a problem with chrono charge that was noticed by just about everyone in the first day of beta... Its completely free, available at about 45 game seconds, and can work on allies... If thats not OP, I dunno what is OP...

So the fact that the Terran and Zerg both have to wait for their first production building to get their macro mechanics (Spawn Larvae, Add-ons and Orbital Command) but the Protoss can get one of theirs just before they build their first food building is... balanced? I don't really agree with that.
It's also a much bigger APM sink than either spawn larvae or MULE. MULE is on a 50-second or so timer. Spawn Larvae is on a 45-second or so timer. Chrono-boost is on about half of that.
