Beware of fake BETA cracks

I just fell victim of this guy on youtube claiming to have an AI hack of the SC2 Beta.

If you havent, dont download the crack, its fake.

If you have, I found a way to remove the trojan you will get. It wont get removed by an antivirus program once you execute the crack because it will re-install itself every time you boot.

Step 1. Download "Sysinternals Autoruns" and install.

Step 2. Reboot and go into safe mode

Step 3. In safe mode, find where you installed autoruns.exe and execute

Step 4. Go into the explorer.exe dll hooks tab and find an icon that looks like the BNET upgrade icon labeled. It would be labeled as "n/a". Delete it. You can also take the time to remove any other things you find suspicious within autoruns.

Step 5. Reboot and run a full antivirus scan

Im posting this because his vid is pretty convincing. Im usually careful about these things but this guy got me because of SC2.

Anyways, hope nobody falls victim in these forums.

Yes we can catch him and its way too easy (download the youtube video, this will remove the blur over his account name )

BTW, cracks are like drugs... don't do them

I'm too lazy to download the video and then get a series of images out of his login part of the vid.

If I don't get a beta soon I will indead start shooting down fake people around the internet if possible

This guy is actually quite "dumb" he will find out about his mistake too late

99% of those videos are fake.

Just be patient with the Beta. You guys are going to get your accounts jacked, banned, and your hard drives crashed.
