SCLegacy contest winners?

Hey guys,

I'd like to know if other contest winners on SCLegacy got in the beta already. I won a key from the question contest many months ago, but I got no e-mail from Blizzard since then, so I emailed Blizzard to know if I should expect to receive an invitation during the second wave, but they didnt answer yet (they probably receive hundreds of emails like that every day anyway).

While I'm sure it'll be fine, are other people in the same boat here? It kinda sucks to watch SC2 streams while checking your mailbox constantly for a Blizzard email.

I know how you feel, waiting for my Blizzcon beta key e-mail. As for the contests LoA said they sent the info to Blizzard. (I believe)

I won the art contest, and got my key from Blizz already =/

I also got my Character Contest key, but I noticed that my email came later than Demolition Squid's.

It could be that not all the emails are sent out at the same time and you somehow got selected to be in the second wave of beta invites, but you might want to send a private message to one of the site staff to confirm that they received your details.

Good luck! I know how you feel because at one point, I was on the forum listening to Demolition Squid talking about how he's playing the beta while I hadn't gotten my email yet :P.

It could be that not all the emails are sent out at the same time

I've heard that the reason they didn't send out all the e-mails at the same time is that it would have marked Blizzard's address as a spam address for things like Gmail and such. So they had to stagger the mailings.

Not only am I no way capable of entering these competitions, or winning for that matter, but i don't have a beta key either.

Opting in on day one, having Starcraft trilogy, wc3, and wow on my account still doesn't cut it i guess.


And i know my computer is perfectly capable of running it

So yeah, i envy you guys, have fun with the beta, really wishing i could get one and share my experiences.
