1v1 Platinum Div 7 Rank 34th!

I've been hearing about this one all day. Everybody says its just killing.

From what I've seen on the streams, it seems like Blizz stuck to what they said and made most things in some sense OP so they would be used but they can tone it down later.... it seems like each race has something that has been considered OP by many: Zerg - mass roaches, Protoss - Chrono/Gate zealots, and Terran - Reaper raids destroying structures

Regardless, its all fun to watch

I'm extremely newbish...but I've been practicing a lot of 1 vs 1 tonight after KD and I got whooped a few times in 2vs2.

Started tech with chrono and 2/3gate zealots while adding in some stalkers and my game got way better. I probably won 5 or so matches on my own tonight.

I LOVE the Sentry as well. You get a 8 vs 6 zealot fight out front of someone's base and that little guy can totally turn that fight around for you. The shield is extremely handy, and force field is awesome. I used it tonight to block workers into mineral areas, keep attackers out of my base, and used one to block a ramp from a retreating protoss so I could finish off his stranglers.

To me Protoss can get raided and squashed too easily... is there anything to stop it?

Yeah, when did Roaches get so tough? Weren't we just talking about how non-threatening they are?

Gifted and I just made platinum 2v2 league. 7th division - 8th place.

Yeah - we just went 8-2 tonight. We're awesome!!!

Nice.. my friend and I went 10-2 tonight and fought you guys at one point.. we ended up winning with reaper/ling

Any idea how to move up through divisions? We are rank 1 div 6 atm but no idea how to move up.

I've won every 1v1 I've played with Protoss today by walling in with a forge and cannons and rushing to two gate Void Rays.

So I dropped to 40th overnight if anyone is wondering how the decay works. Here is the wierd thing. Before I thought I was going crazy cause my rank said 34 than 35 then 36 than 35. I guess it updates real time. There may be a bug though because the stat labeled "highest rank" also changes and I would assume thats supposed to be your all time highest ranking.

Haha - yeah that was a good game. Sucks I knew right away I was in trouble. Mis-clicked twice and was 2 Z's down from normal + your reaps were just as fast as ours and I didn't have charge yet (hand't needed it that early yet). After that game I played against you I started making sure that if the early rush failed I'd be able to tech without being too far behind. I'm pretty sure that every game but one that got teched past tier one Gifted and I won.

Congrats on Plat Rank #1 in div 6! We're in div 7 but we'll still probably see you around!
