I agree with your speculation, but I've seen no official comments on whether you can redownload to another computer (if you have a key), and I'm wondering how that will work. For opt-in Beta users, I assume they must use the computer they opt'ed in with.

I think a question in the FAQ dealt with that specifically. You can download to other computers but only 1 can be online with the same Account at any given time.

Once you have authorization it shouldn't matter how many times you download the installation client. Even if it does, installing on a different computer is as simple as grabbing a flash drive/external hard drive or transferring the file over a network. Of course this too is speculation...
