Nope. Got me a Broadband connection. I was just wondering how Blizzard will know for sure. I mean, what if they'd given someone a key who doesn't even have a good connection? That would be terrible.

Most people with dial up should have the decency to know they shouldn't be applying to beta tests for games.

4 gigs for the Beta? Honestly, what could be taking up that much space?

Well all the textures and sounds/music would be guilty here, I'd say. It's beta, but it has all the units+buildings of the multiplayer part of the game. And the tilesets and race specific music.

I won't have my new computer in time for Beta start (talking a matter of days, but still), so if my key is good for the first wave of invites then I'll have to use my 5 yr old desktop which may or may not work with these specs (it'd be barely, and it's the wrong processor, speed is good though). I'll give it a shot of course, but I hope they let you re-download the client on to another computer...
