    If your ping goes above an acceptable threshhold.. you won't be able to play. It's quite simple.

    Try playing today's FPS on dialup. It doesn't work well.

    Finally. I'm very happy with those specs, both my new system and even my laptop will handle anything in that vicinity with ease.

    It is most likely true. Modern games with good netcode use a lot of bandwidth. Heroes of Newerth uses 30-40MB per hour

    It works incredibly well, so it doesn't draw many complaints. Those in countries with lame ISPs do get screwed, though

    Nope. Got me a Broadband connection. I was just wondering how Blizzard will know for sure. I mean, what if they'd given someone a key who doesn't even have a good connection? That would be terrible.
