they have been known to report lots of false news.. so wouldnt hold your breath.

This is great news ever!!! (though I only found out about on the 18th and been testing it out since then till now.) Anyway, well after a long login absence here waiting for the coming "soon" SC2 Beta, I'm finally return to SCL. Though now I'm going to no longer go under this current username "LordArreat15" (After being grown tired of it now.) I'm return here as Eroldren!

Opt-ins are now beginning to receive invites. I have not received one myself (yet), but I know of a couple people who have - and no, they didn't go to blizzcon or anything of that sort.

Still haven't received an opt in. In our ring of 10 StarCraft friends, we share 2 accounts.
1 opt in, and one Blizzcon.

And we all have 2+ accounts each due to having multiple WoW chars and we uploaded the stats on unique machines. Seriously, the % to get one is slim.

10 Million WoW players. Say only 25% decide to opt in.

Right now on Battle.net, theres around 3000 people online. Lets be really "nice" and say only 10% of all players with a key are actually on B.net at any given time.
So 30,000 keys were given.

30,000/ 2.5 million = .0012% to get a key on the first wave. This is assuming Blizzcons=Opt in's . I'd imagine the real # to be much lower.

Stop buttering it up. You do realize Blizzard is trying to get everyone to convert into a battle.net account?

If you do so right now, you get an exclusive pet.

More likely than 2.5 million people have opt'd in, not to mention the people who enmass signed up duplicate accounts.

^ Yeah, but why does converting to a battle.net account guarantee they sign up for the beta? And sorry for expressing my opinion.
