Why not? They said after all you needed about 4 gigs to install it. 1.64 gigs for the download, and another 1.64 gigs after installing it.

That's 3.28 gigs, so it's easier just to say 4 gigs.

That's not quite how it works, but it is a possibility that it's 4 GB compressed to 1.64 GB. Expect a fairly long extraction time if this is the case.

As an SCL staff member I will confirm that I am currently downloading the client myself. I have provided screens to other staff. I have not received a beta email yet however.

PS - I'm not a big poster, and I'm not a troller. I don't have time for that. I've just been hitting F5 along with everyone else. I logged into my battle.net account - and the first item there is Manage SC2 beta
