Thread: Training Gifted's son

  1. #1

    Default Training Gifted's son

He's my son, Caden, and is 2 years old... but that doesn't change the fact that we can train him young.

And yes, he's not just posing, that's him playing. Any advice I can try to tell him? He's up to 1 word sentences.. but he understands the importance of "A".

Terran Level 1 of Brood War. He's completed a few of the missions on the original.. and after watching his elder brother (5 years old) he's able to complete all of the puzzles in Portal.

2 years old.. and he's beaten Portal. *boggles*

I was going to post Brood War 1, but I wasn't sure if it was the 2nd, but now I remember that mission perfectly, you face another terran base

That's Mission 1 of Episode V (Terrans in Brood War). It's where we first meet Duran.

I must say, Gifted — your son seems very......

His hand placement is off for Terran. Hes going to need to pick up his hot key game if hes ever going to make C+ on Iccup.

I'll rather post this than a wall of text...

    Tips:

-Get some program to change most of the hot keys to a smaller section in the left side. (Best for small hands, but can't be used in tournaments)

-Tell him that StarCraft was there 10 years before he was born. Tell him that StarCraft 2 is his age ^^

-Take him into a daily trip to Blizzard. (I would love that, if I was a 2 year old)

I really don't know, he is your kid teach him everything you know. Everything is so easy to learn at that age... BTW, I would love to play against him or you someday.

BUT, DO YOU BELIEVE YOU CAN CHALLENGE HIM IN 10 YEARS?

PS: That's the first episode of the terran campaign in BroodWar, and your son might as well be starting the mission because he got no academy.
