    Why not? It's pretty cheap for it's stats, it can teleport, and it comes from the Nexus and not the Starport. And it stealths buildings. So in it's own way it's almost a better unit.

    400/400 isn't as expensive as it sounds. When a single one can make a huge difference to your army.

    Isn't this going to greatly affect the way Roaches are used?
    I haven't actually seen anybody use the burrow and heal strategy in an actual game yet. So I don't think so. But maybe when the beta comes out that'll change.

    I'm really hoping this change doesn't stick anyway...

    I mean in a combat situation with two armies fighting eachother. Catching each low HP Roach and making it burrow before it can die.

    Probably in ZvZ, that will be a very valid tactic, as Zerg who opt for the Zergling-Mutalisk combo will find that their overseers are easy targets for Corruptors. That Metagame should be really interesting to follow.

    It's stuff like this and tier 3 lurkers that really grinds my gears!

    But honestly, was stealth really that effective in SC1? I remember DT rushes, but what else really made an impact? I guess the fact that they are making detection even easier makes the problem worse. Meanwhile, zerg are slowly getting more stealth gimmicks that mimic cloaking. Moving while borrowed!? Hey! That's like cloaking! Sorta!

    The Burrowing makes me wonder along a slight digression: Can Infestors burrow through cliffs? I wouldn't think so, but at least that would give the Zerg a surprise advantage when casting with them against an enemy on high-ground.

    (Do the zerg have ANY units that can go up and down cliffs?)

    When the nydus worm was a unit and not a building, it could bypass cliffs. (There were even a few videos where we saw it do that.) But IIRC infestors never did that in Battle Report 3.

    Zerg do not have a cliff-climbing unit. They have Mutalisks instead.

    Yeah the ground doesn't stop bullet or melee weapon, i wonder why we can walk on it...

    I really like the tier 2 burrow, it upgrade the roach and the baneling making them twice dangerous if controled properly. You have to choose between a BO involving very early roach or baneling and a stronger push/map control latter. Kinda cool metagame. It involve moer choice in ZvZ too, less ling/muta/scourge every game since
    baneling>zergling;
    hydra>muta;
    zergling>hydra;
    roach>zerling and hydra;
    muta>roach;

    Burrow and detect are tier2, so tech>no-tech if used properly

    One thing the Tier 2 burrow may do is give Blizzard the chance to increase the Baneling's damage a bit. Cloaked Tier 1 exploders can't do that much damage. But if you postpone the cloaking part until later, then you have the leeway to make Banelings individually more powerful.

    Maybe now they do 20 + 15 vs. Light, or 25 + 10 vs. Light which would make them a bit more viable vs. non-Light units.
