I don't get many new games these days. I got Torchlight when it was selling for $5, then before that I think the oldest game I've got is Fallout 3.
The remakes of Pokemon Gold + Silver look really cool, but I don't have a DS. That rules out the new Golden Sun too.
I love Mega Man but don't have a Wii to play 9 or 10. The new Metroid may be good enough for me to get a Wii but it doesn't even have a release date.
Fallout: New Vegas isn't due out until Fall (SC2 could be out before it).
so yeah, doesn't look like I'll be getting anything new for a while.

Yeah. I had a lot of fun with all four games. The funny thing is that when I played Gears of War, I went from easy to hardcore in a very short time despite not having played an FPS in a long time. Yet when I play either Left 4 Dead game, I'm mediocre (same goes for Halo). Also I absolutely loved playing multiplayer with my friends on Gears of War 2.
It seems more and more that I'm liking FPSs more. Though thats probably only becuase I like to play with friends more often than alone. Also, co-op modes are awesome.

This might be a bit of blasphemy, but take my word for this.. I was one of 1000 for the original StarCraft Beta Test and I had so much fun for those four months that event took place. It was probably the one time in my life where I was literally 100% addicted and entrenched in a game(thankfully this was during 7th grade!). However, after those four months and the game was released it didn't have that same "wow" factor for me that it did during that Beta Test. Admittedly, that didn't turn out to be a huge deal as I'm still playing the game off and on to this day.
It was quite different for me when BW came out. I actually really enjoyed those initial few months of Brood Wars and it helped to rekindle that fire that I had.
So if you don't end up with the Beta, just appreciate the fact that when you get the game you've been waiting for so long, it'll be just that more special for you.

I'm currently editing Warcraft 3 frozen throne into a nice RTS. Working on the Undead is quite fun. I'm certain there'll be no beta for me, so, I guess looking for Warcraft RTS fans for balance testing.
Also, 60% will be about watching sc2 vods and suggesting strats and tactics.

Modern Warfare 2 could very well keep me entertained right up until the SC2 beta.
Other than that, I've got a few freelance website projects to work on, some minor house projects to complete, am considering moving to a bigger house in the near future, and have another life-changing event to prepare for come later this year.
