Everyone that is in the first wave of invites will get an email when the Beta will start, not sooner.
Yes, we're going to send out multiple waves of invites, so don't get your hopes down if you're not in the first wave!

The fact that I see a "maintenance mode" shows me that the access to the site could be some issue with regional situations. (In other words, with me being in the US, I might not be able to access it like you are because of your region)

For that reason, can you provide a screen shot for the sake of others who might not access it? It's not that I don't believe you, it's just that since I can't see it, it'd be nice to see.

am from europe and its Forum Maintenance Notification screen for me, same as it was a week ago. so cheers for nothing

I know it's not rly on topic, but those waves for the beta.. is there the possibility that people with blizzcon or wwi keys will be in the first or second wave?

From what I've seen, it looks like all "promised" keys will be provided first before Opt Ins. I don't have the source right on me right now.

All of those posts are placeholders, except for the guidelines which are the same as on the regular forums.

I just checked the other languages, only the Beta FAQ in all of the others except english.

The german forum just got a "test" topic, with the new battle.net nicknames it seems.
