I don't think it matters what anyone thinks. It'll either happen or it won't. Anticipating it only makes it worse for you if it doesn't happen and makes it feel longer until it actually happens.

And I feel I'm a perfect example of it's effectiveness. The past three months, I've surrounded myself with things as far from Blizzard as can be. I've been playing several old games that I had on a backlog as well as GameFly'ing new console games as they come in. Through this, I've become so distant from beta anticipation that I feel absolutely no restlessness. Beta is imminent and I'm not even excited yet. That's not to say I don't care anymore. It's just that I've suppressed it. Once beta videos come around, the fanatic Blizzard zealot in me will come alive again. It's a bit too late for this advice but maybe someone will take it to heart
