technically we don't know that for sure, but even if it is, the diablo 3 portion was filmed 8 months ago and revealed new content that blizzard updated when the show was released. Why not the same thing with starcraft? A nice beta go along with jace hall's exclusive content on the beta.

Having this episode or the following one coincide with the release of beta implies Blizzard knew eight months ago that they would delay beta and release it in February 2010,
which I sincerely doubt is the case. Therefore, if this was, in fact, filmed 8 months ago, there's probably nothing about beta release except maybe innacurate information that they thought was true eight months ago.

Which means if this was filmed 8 months ago, there probably won't be any information that will greatly interest SC2 fans unless they have been living in a hole.

It means Blizzard told jace hall don't air that fucking episode until we tell you to and Jace Hall said ok. I'm sure he'd agree to their terms to get exclusive content on the beta.

Ahh I see, but they'd still have to time it so that it coincidentally coincides (that's right coincidentally coincides) with the release of a Jace Hall season, unless you're implying Jace Hall would hold off the release of an entire season of his show until he got the call from Blizzard - unlikely.

He could have been holding on to that content for 8 months, Now he has a 3 month window to air the beta content. I'm sure he gladly would have moved that segment to whatever episode/time frame blizzard requested(not necessarily the whole season), it only takes a minor editing effort on his part.

edit: to clarify, he could have shown it any episode, as late as 2 months from now, I'm sure its these next 2 weeks for a reason...

Unless it wasn't filmed 8 months ago and was filmed more recently when Blizzard had a better idea of when beta was going to start.

btw, only DIablo 3 said filmed on june, and SC2 is only speculation it was filmed same time to my knowledge, none of the SC2 segments have "filmed in june" or am i wrong?
