I don't know, there are so many options on my motherboard, I don't know what is and what isn't overclocked.

    did you OC it?

check your memory at what voltage it should run and check if it is set at such rate in BIOS

How do I check what RAM I have/what voltage it should be at? Nevermind I just got to wait for my computer to shut down.

yup it worked, I increased my RAM voltage from 1.5V to 1.6 and it booted up without any freeze
I dunno why as it was set like this all the time, yet after the GPU upgrade it's started doing those freezes
wow, I tried to solve the issue for soo long and when you came in and reminded me about it I didi it in a sec

now what remains is the USB drives problem

Ok, mines a Kingston ValueRam: KVR1333D3N9K2/4G. It runs on 1.5 volts but what i have been reading 1.5v is only for Intel based systems, AMD units run 1.7-1.9 volts. More specs: 4GB 1333MHz DDR3 Non-ECC CL9 DIMM

K, here. I'm actually on my parent's PC since my old one went bust. The decision at hand is if it would be cheaper and easier to just buy an upgrade for this PC and let my parents get a new PC, or buy an new PC for me with the system specs I need already.

Anyway, here are the specs. Considering the first post advises a 5800 series graphics card and ours appears to be a 200 series, I'm gonna take a stab and guess that if I wanna play SC on this machine I should upgrade it.

I would not recommend an upgrade yet if you will insist I can't really help you
at this point the motherboard and ram needs to be throwed away, as you would have issues with mobo-GPU bus speed and it wouldn't do much as your CPU would bottleneck the graphic card wayyy too much

Huh? Why not? And what is "mobo-GPU bus speed," why would it force me to replace my RAM and motherboard?
