I actualy don't like the ability, since i think it will result in protoss outteching the enemy in every game, which inresult kills a lot of posible strategies for the other 2 races.

But it can't affect tech. It can only affect research.
oh, it was not at the time!!Allot of people ignored it because it was so old. Recently I think Nicol resurrected it.
Most people ignored it because I made it confusing. It's in the annals of the Macro Suggestion Thread if anyone wants to track it down...

Actually I doubt it will affect build orders, it doesn't affect how long buildings take to Warp in after all. Not to say it isn't useful, but it isn't 'that' pivotal (buildings rely on buildings, not on tech or units).
That's the thing though, can it be cast on itself?
What I'd like to know is the solid facts, does it cost energy of does it have a cooldown, either way how much, how much time does it knock off, 20 seconds, 30?

+1 weapons, zealot charge, blink, and *maybe* Forcefield/storm should still represent some significant tech timing threats.
Also, this could still increase the DT tech threat if the effect is fast enough. We have no idea if it's a huge boost over a short time or a small boost over a longer time. I'm hoping it's the prior.

Define "tech faster." Protoss will be able to produce unit faster and get faster upgrades. But the minimum time it takes to get unit X on the field is unchanged. She does bring a point...Protoss will be able to tech faster than other races. Balancing this mechanic will be a bitch.

Ah, actually, it isn't.But the minimum time it takes to get unit X on the field is unchanged.
You can get a faster production of that first unit.
But the time it takes to get x unit available for production is the same, yes.

- (unconfirmed) Cast TW on a Robo Facility while it's under production to bring it into the field quicker.
- Cast TW on whatever building is responsible for tech research of blink so you can quickly bring about the most overpowered unit of the game in full glory.
- Cast TW on your Nexus so you can train your mothership faster.
Do I really need to continue, or are you arguing just for the sake of arguing again?

Highly unlikely to be part of the ability, and not actually mentioned in the description.
That's not tech.- Cast TW on whatever building is responsible for tech research of blink so you can quickly bring about the most overpowered unit of the game in full glory.
This is really the only way the ability affects tech at all.- Cast TW on your Nexus so you can train your mothership faster.
