Oh and Demo I had this as an ability back when I wrote the Thesis. You wernt the first I just decided since then that it was rather bland and unimaginative compared to say the MULE or Spawn Larva.

My idea for the obelisk was to allow the shield regen to affect buildings in progress/speed up the construction of a new building. This would allow a player to sacrifice econ for faster tech.

My Thesis article was September 14 2008. Your post you linked to is August 29 2009. Nevertheless I dont really care if I was or wasnt the first. Just pointing out that demo wasnt.

I'm saying that I called Blizzard scrapping the Obelisk and trying out a build/research time increase ability. I'm not claiming to have invented the idea.
