Hey everyone!

I've been following SCL and these forums for years (has it been that long already? Why yes, yes it has...) but I've held off making an account until now. It seems appropriate for me to throw in my two cents now that SC2 is imminently playable and I personally have a Beta invite. I feel like I can actually contribute something to the community here now, and so, I'm here. I suspect many more people will be cropping up like this in the next few days, ah well. What a great day huh? Only a few more to go...

Once Beta starts, I'll do my best to provide answers, pics, vids, etc. Feel free to use me. Anyways, great site/forums. Kept me entertained all these years of waiting.

Haha, hard to believe it's finally coming.
I'll seriously laugh my ass off if the random date I just guessed happens to be the date that the beta starts. xD

EDIT: Just remembered, I guessed 22nd of February.

This game has been in development since 2004...2004! That's 6, yes, SIX, S-I-X years, that this game has been in development...That's just insane.
We've been waiting for this since, what...Mai of 2007? (Since it was officially announced)

And we've just gone over 11 years of waiting for a sequel to SC:BW...

It's hard to believe that the beta is just around the corner. However, I'm not as hyped as I've been when the game was announced or when they first announced that the beta was approaching (before it was delayed)

Hype goes up and down as we get new stuff and else, now that Beta has been officially announced I expect hype to go total rampage for at least a week, if beta hasn't come out by then we'll just be counting each passing second...

Personally I'm worried bout the fact that when I finally get my hands on the actual game I might be so excited that I'll get a hype overdose and die

It is the beginning of a list of people who plan on live streaming and/or YouTubing beta games. GGTemplar is already on there and I thank him for planning to share his experience with the rest of us not lucky enough to get a key.

Maybe SCLegacy could start a sticky topic list after people are actually playing the game? Might be early to start now since many people have good intentions but do not actually know when/if they will be in beta. Maybe only add people to a SCLegacy list after they are confirmed in beta and streaming?

How large would you guys suspect the beta client to be? 3 or 4 gb?
