New unit portraits ?

The new BNet Preview video also showed us some new portraits, and i noticed that most are taken from units. So this leads me to the question, are some of the new portraits that we also see there new portraits that replaced some old units ones?


And if so, anybody want to take a guess from which units they are?

Yeah i noticed ^_^ . It's also partly the reason why i made this thread, so we can guess which portrait belongs to which unit. And i tryed to make the pics slightly bigger.

Good guess , but i'm not to shure about the Immortal, Mule , Medivac and the Auto Turret?

The medivac I'm sure about, but the immortal looks different than the previous one we've seen. But of all the Protoss units it looks like that, unless this is a unique hero portrait.

No idea what that auto turret thing is. It's in the Terran section but looks mechanical.

Ooh, there may be a single-player unit portrait in there.

The portrait you said was the mothership...it's interesting to note that in BR1, that was the portrait of the Pylon. Since then, in BR4, the Pylon has had the default Protoss guy. So, maybe it is the mothership, or maybe it's a special not used anymore portrait. It'd be cool when we get beta to find out!

I'm also thinking that the 2nd to last guy in the first pane might be a high templar? Just cause we haven't seen one yet, and I don't think Blizz would copy the default protoss guy over as a unit portrait (even tho he does very much resemble a HT)

Sentinel? Really not sure about this one at all. Could be the Carrier. This one COULD be the High Templar, I'd believe it.

This one could also be the High Templar... or maybe this one is the Carrier. I think with this one and the one above one is the High Templar and one is the Carrier because those are the only real Protoss units left without portraits... that aren't the sentinel or the Phoenix. And I'm reasonably sure the third picture in the first screen shot is the Phoenix.
