I hate to refer to Boxer as "washed up", but it is true he has trouble competing with the current heavy macro style players. He was always a micro expert in a game that is now ruled by macro.
I think this actually makes it more likely that he would be involved in SC2 since he is not as active on the current professional scene.

I agree, SC used to be pretty micro intensive back in the day. Now it's somewhere between a balance of macro and micro, but there's definitely more macro than there is micro.I hate to refer to Boxer as "washed up", but it is true he has trouble competing with the current heavy macro style players. He was always a micro expert in a game that is now ruled by macro.

Now now...let's not start making claims from inside sources yet again. That didn't quite go over well the last time when Gifted started doing it, and I doubt it will go over well now either. Whether or not you have an insider source willing to feed you secret information is irrelevant.
The fact of the matter is you cannot share the specifics of these details without jeopardizing your relationships. Nor can you tell us exactly when the beta will start...which is what I'm guessing most of us only care about. All you're doing is teasing people with promises of the beta which ultimately you cannot fulfill yourself.
There's a specific user group created for this kind of discussion...and I humbly request we keep it isolated to there please. Enough rumors, teases, and inside source tidbits. Let's just stick with facts and confirmed claims please.

FAR from it. Boxer has beaten top pros as recent as 3-4 months ago. He is still the greatest SC player of all time, because without him, the competitive scene wouldnt be half as good as it is. Boxer has the best micro of any progamer probably still to this day, unfortunately hes not a macro player which is why he isnt in the top 20 anymore, SC1 has become a macro game where you dont need to do any micro really, just sit in your base and wait til your 3-3 with 200 supply then attack like Flash does.
Thats why Boxer will play SC2, the game will have more micro, and that is where Boxer excels. If there is any player in the world capable of taking ANY unit and making them feared, its him. Im sure Boxer could even make scouts useful if he played protoss. In SC2, the only way to find out if a unit is truely imbalanced, is to put it in Boxers hands and see how it works with the best micro in the world.
(keep in mind I HATE terrans, so this praise is not biased, its the truth. Boxer was the most influencial figure in RTS games, maybe in progaming in general)

well I used third-handed informations only once my mistake and it won't happen again
I prefere to use connections which will give me the ability to share my informations with others
in that email i've got, there was a specific information about when I can give some pieces of the puzzle/informations or whatever in time
the time has come, so I can share
that email is over 2 days old, it's not tagged with Blizzard

Don't you people see!? This preview is meant to pull the wool over your eyes! Its just to give you something to temporarily discuss and distract you when they announce a delay tomorrow so the disappointment is not so bitter!
