I'm confused with the terminology, does press beta/friends beta mean friends and family of Blizzard employees or does it mean company friends of Blizzard (ie. IGN, Game Informer, etc).

That's it...rally the troops! We need to combine efforts to locate the source of these so called 'friends' and pinpoint their locations. Once their coordinates are established, we will strike at once to secure the coveted beta for the good of the community.

yes, family&friends beta was planned right before the main beta for fans

"Press" would relate to people such as SCL, TL.net, etc.. so I doubt its gone to that stage yet, or there would definately be a leak already, esp by the smaller sites (like yours, if you got picked).

Its apparent that they are obviously playing at their houses, the blizzard employees.. Probably have been for over a year. They wouldnt be this far in the development stage (ie almost close to releasing beta) without testing it at home themselves.
