Meh, I've been here for ages, haven't posted much because things got quiet...

I would like a beta date, and information on the collectors edition box, but this meeting is not exclusively for Stacraft, it is for the company as a whole.

As I have said before my beta sense is tingling, and getting stronger, as in Friday we may get some thing but its just my ques.

I still think that some people here already know the date of the beta, or are in fact playing the game and they cant say due to an NDA, but only time will tell...

At least, I'm betting this year's not going to end without the beta. Fall this year might be a good time to start waiting.

I'm not pouring my heart out on something so ridiculous as a company announcing the state of their product's beta testing in a business conference.

They could say, "hey, we're expecting to get at least a billion copies sold within this year" but I doubt they're going to say, "hey, invest coz we're about to start our beta for our highly anticipated game!"

I mean, who says that in a business conference?

I don't think the Beta will be far off at all - certainly not fall! We haven't heard anything otherwise, but 1st half of 2010 for release and a 4-6 month beta was their goals. That being said, Feb would have to be the month to start beta in order to make the 1st half deadline.

As for my expectations, I'm optimistic...I really hope the different nature of this conference (it's being broadcast) is a sign of something big being announced or shown. Whatever the case, it'll be interesting to see.

But didn't they announce the beta got delayed at the last meeting? Beta progress has to be of some importance in the conference...
