    So I'm going another painting focusing on Tassadar -- "To Bleed a World" -- and this is a detail of his portrait. Still have some work to do! A bit more detail than that speed sketch I made. Critique?

    While I admit that I prefer more simplistic Protoss (as in not cluttered in with unnecessary detail -- SC2 Zeratul is ugh), this looks great. I especially love the eyes. The perspective is a bit iffy around the neck, but I think that could be fixed with just a little shading or something like that. That and I kinda miss Tass' narwhal trunk from SC1. Probably my favorite part of this is the top of the head. Well, and the pose. It really looks like Tassadar has something on his mind.

    (In my personal opinion, I think this does a pretty good job of what Tassadar's lower half of his face should look like (not anything above the eyes, though),



    but obviously VoK you're entitled to your own, more SC2-y design! I would like to see a bit more red in his eyebrow ridge, but it's a very good picture.

    Don't mind me, Robear. I'm just stuck on Tassadar's original design, because it's so clearly different from other Protoss. He doesn't feel standard. As is, I feel VoK's version is standard. Sure, he's free to draw how he wants, and the design itself is cool, but I'm just into things that are distinct.

    There was a lot of give-and-take when I was designing it, trying to give Tassadar a StarCraft 2 feel. Though I obviously love the detail in the new Protoss design, it's very easy to confuse one individual for another. If you have any more suggestions or thoughts feel free to voice 'em and I'll take it into consideration as I work on it!

    I knew that Dota 2 copied all from Blizzard (also LoL did it, but not on this "chinese way"), but even the Hydralisk... This is simply pathetic, go f**k yourself gabe newell ball of cra*

    Yeah, I mean, it's actually a really good design, but... yeah, I can't stand DotA 2's designs. It's like, come on, you could have invented a new character to fit the same role instead of using a knockoff of the exact same character.





    ^That one is one of the worst. It's not like dwarves flying propeller planes is some generic fantasy trope, and they could so easily have made some slight change to any part of it (make it not a dwarf, make it not a propeller plane...) Or they could have given the Hydralisk knockoff legs, and the Anub'arak knockoff a tail. So many easy ways to seem less cheap...

    OMFG this is worse than expected... After "stealing" the name DotA to blizzard (i don't care if it was a mod by IceFrog)... Valve CLONED all the heroes of DotA 1...

    Look at the fact that ALL the warcraft models are clonated ... And look also that Blizzard doesn't did any legal action to it (i still donět understand why... and i still understand why Blizzard is so indulgent)
    Other thing unexplicable is that all DotA fan-boys are happy about this plagiarism, this comment for example is one of the most retarded ones i've ever seen (is the third post on the page i linked) "nice work!

    Yeah... Sure... It's like a 8-Years old conversion of WarCraft 3 on that shitty style by Valve present also on TF2... Good job copypaster!
    Other thing funny is that after less of two weeks from the BlizzCon 2013 and the presentation of Heroes of the Storm... Someone at Valve sensed the flavour of the risks of legal actions for copyright violation by blizzard and published this patch that modified some models and names (the widnrunner one was simply embarassing).

    The most fun part is that the fanboys whined that "fucking blizzard and his shitty copyright, we dOn'T lIkE cHaNgEs!" when they are the first to say that "OMFG Heroes of the Storm COPIED DOTA 2 !!!!!" These fanboys are everydays more retarded and more funny to my eyes
    Is ok be inspired on design, like blizzard did with warhammer 40k, aliens, van helsing etc... But plagiarism is only a coward way to make money for loser dumb ass people.
    On december they removed the skeleton king... Later returned as Wraith King... Fan Boys reaction ... "omfg fking blizzard!" Ahahahahah my ass is laughing ever more XD

    To come back on the Topic here is two new images (Ok the Colossus one is on the internet from one year or so)
    Cocain over 9000 Marine, wallapaper of the latest awesome short-story (i don't know if these short stories are written by blizzard or by fans)

    Landed Viking (Engines Failure? Brother of the Yolo Viking of HotS intro ?) with a nice colossus spamming flames that on the short story of the colossus itself can melt walls, nice piece of art IMHO.
