usually we post art about starcraft that is just so freaking awesome it deserves to be shared with the rest of the forum.. occasionally though, there is something that needs to be shared on the merits of its "what the hell?!" factor. Here are some images I came across while searching the net for some protoss art that make me go... what the hell?!?! Then I proceeded to laugh my ass off.

Disclaimer:
Let me make it clear that I'm not trying to put down this artist on the basis of technical skills or execution but on subject matter and what the hell factor.

Funny things to note:

Check out the post for Wednesday, October 24, 2007 for an awesome double fail.

The real funny things to see begin when you hit the post for Tuesday, November 15, 2005... it gradually gets worse(or more funny depending on how you look at it) from there.

Must see images that will make you rofl(even just reading the titles here could make u rofl):

-Achenne, Matriarch of russian Dark Templars
-Kill them all! Or Judicator saves little zergling
-Young Jessindar playing music on xilepher
-Sefora and ghost of Tassadar

This is true, however I don't think even that can redeem it. Since when do protoss have ears to listen to music, so why would they play a harp like instrument. Also, a russian dark templar, that tribe must have traveled a long way to be born on the terran home world... and when would a protoss try to save a zergling? Don't get me started on the ghost of Tassadar picture which is an awesome concept but since when did Tassadar's ghost become a Geanie with wings?

Speaking of funny fanart, I can't think of any better than oOWhiplashOo on Deviantart with its absurdity and strangely enough, pretty decent quality of art. For those who haven't seen her work, she's proof that every franchise has its share of stereotypically 'girly' fandom. Stand outs that defy description and need to be seen to be believed include:
