    Even on this one i prefer the new one, way less monotone, with more details, colors, light sources and in tone with the sc2 art style... Can't wait for the comments... Oh boi...

    I actually like it I just wish the circle thing had way more detail.

    I got super bored and dicked around a little, trying to push the new version closer to the atmosphere of the original. Not sure if I succeeded.

    Aaand sold.

    Be it through hallowed grounds or lands of sorrow
    The Forger's wake is bereft and fallow

    Is the residuum worth the cost of destruction and maiming;
    Or is the shaping a culling and exercise in taming?

    The road's goal is the Origin of Being
    But be wary through what thickets it winds.

    Better yeah. The big issue is the sun rays on the left side. They're kinda blocked on the original making half the room a lot darker. In the new one though, they're making the right side darker. But yeah, you'd need some serious PS skills to alter that without all the layers and etc.

    I just realized something. There are two major hidden light sources. The one contributing to the sun beams and casting down shadows from the pillars -- and another casting shadows from the crystal thingy on the right. Their shadows' angles intersect.

    Since when did Aiur have two suns?!

    Maybe the wider shadow coming from the base of that crystal pedestal is just the shadow cast by that huge circular contraption? You can see that the sunbeams don't light the crystal (it has its own light source) and that it only touches a small part of that pedestal
    Yes, that's right! That is indeed ME on the right.

    Here we go with the final one, believe it or not, but this time i prefer the original, better shadow effects even if the remaster has way more details

    New one is pretty good. I am not displeased.

    I know English isn't your first language, so I'm somewhat sympathetic, but we've been through this before and I'm tired of repeating myself. I DID NOT say it was childish because it wasn't dark, but because it was specifically childish for the reasons Gradius stated. Mario is not childish. That lame ass pose is, but not because it's colorful.

    I really wonder why they changed the marines' positioning and the environmental lighting. It throws off the composition considerably.
