Thread: Seriously. Alien vs Predator might soke up SC2 playtime

    There is

Mouse3 (middle mouse/scroll wheel) lets you climb on any surface. Press it again while you're on a ceiling and you'll drop to the floor.

Problem I had with it was the camera disorients you from dropping down, and I'm often spinning around like mad trying to get a fix on my target. I wish there was a way to fix my camera on the target, either with headtracking or something like L4D Hunter's Leap attack. It's hard to melee an opponent that's shooting you while you're on a ceiling.

It can be a bit disorienting, I have had a fer moments were I was stalking a marine and suddenly I was upside down and backwards running around on a crate I bumped into.

Yeah, a somewhat smooth lock-on system would be best. In fact, why not just tie it in with the Alien's focus ability? (which only see's limited use as it is)

I agree with Squid. It looks like something that could get redundant quite quickly, and will be something that eventually many players will try to get as a solo goal.

In any case, the game does looks very fun and I can't wait to try it. I just kinda wish that the graphics on that game looked at least a bit better.

For those of you playing tonight, lets try to get a group going so we can actually get into a game!

Yeah...I agree. I played the 360 demo so I don't know how the other versions are. Controls are bad, the deathmatch are not balanced and as a marine it's hard to see anything. I do expect the single player mode to be better though and the other multiplayer modes more balanced than this.

Don't you know that anything on the 360 is better on the PC? Sheesh!

Tried it myself. It wasn't as good as I was hoping, but it wasn't utterly without merit either. I think with some balancing it'll be better, and I look forward to the other MP modes.

Also, I found the alien wall movement easier than in AvP2. I don't know why.

So I got one 10 minute match in before I go back to studying and... I am disappoint. 5 people in the game, 3 preds, 1 alien, and me as the marine. I didn't stand a chance. I control like I'm covered in cement and the insta kill grabs are not cool.

Ok, I am not minding the one hit kill moves at all they seem balanced, but its frustrated being killed while performing them or having some one else do one to you while your still performing it.
