Seriously. Alien vs Predator might soke up SC2 playtime

Basically your gunna get raped if you play as the marine in multiplayer.

look at AvP 2, melee fight=instant kill - nothing really is diffrent
Marine also has it's melee attack in AvP 3 so he is not that defenceless

Aye, I have my problems with that too. Perhaps it'll work out. Guess we'll have to try it and find out.

Otherwise it looks like another glaring weakness for the poor marines. Maybe they get nukes!

In AvP1 and 2. What Marines Lacked in speed and health were made up by their sheer ranged DPS. I remember that the sniper rifle in AvP 2 was a very broken weapon.

An Aliens Vs. Predator multiplayer demo is set for release on Xbox Live, Steam and PSN TOMORROW, Sega’s confirmed.
The multiplayer demo gives access to all three species – the Colonial Marine, the Predator and the Alien – and Deathmatch mode on Refinery, one of the game’s multiplayer maps.

Jason Kingsley, CEO of Rebellion said of the demo: “Multiplayer was a huge part of our original AVP game back in 1999, and we’ve kept the spirit of that classic experience in creating the multiplayer for our new Aliens vs Predator. With the demo now gamers can get to grips with each of the three iconic species so they can hone their skills and be ready for when the game launches and battle commences.”

Nice! Even though deathmatch might be a little too chaotic to fully gauge the characters, this is far more than I had expected!
