    D-8 Charges:
    — Can be selected
    — Can't be destroyed (no HP shown — like an invincible unit)
    — Take about 2 seconds to go boom

    This came up in the "Wont survive beta' thread (courtesy o' me) - but I think I'll post my concern here too:

    I'm told that they do friendly damage, so you can't just throw them anywhere.

    they've become unkillable? Terran seems so OP right now. They've just got too many options.

    (I play Terran - I'd like my opponents to stand a chance though)

    I don't get it, why are they selectable if they can't be destroyed? That's like being able to select doodads.

    I don't get it, why are they selectable if they can't be destroyed?

    Was wondering if maybe they have plans to make them susceptible to particular spells as a potential counter. (?) EMP, Force Field, Vortex?

    Pft, not destoyable

    thats just stupid
    at least give the static defenses a chance to survive

    They're not static defense because they explode about 2-3 seconds after you put them down.
