Well, that would be the worse case, yet an Ipad would break because of:
-water
-fall
-fire
-too cold
-too hot
-power overwhelming
-dead components
-man power

And a book can die to:
-fire
-prolonged times in water
-too much time invested on destroying them... and they don't give up
