Does that really surprise you given what you know of the dev team? I mean look, these are the people they let run the show!

I remember JD talking about the first time that Jace went by there, it got around the office quickly and he said it was slightly hilarious. I haven't heard about this most recent time yet probably because the subject hasn't come up.

Some things to look into regarding this would be the following:
- When is the posting date of this video?
- If someone wants to look as the movie zooms in on the board, try to catch a date to signify about when it was taken (long shot)

Things to remember:
- Many times, shows like these could involve staging, sometimes not. What matters is that this gathering could be 1-2 months old.
- It could be mere weeks. I'm curious when the Blizzard episode will lie in his episode schedule.
- Jace Hall seems to be a basic "setup show" where things seem setup often. There are a few things, however, that seem legit. I wouldn't be surprised if this scene was a mock party as well.
- Ultimately, only time will tell, please remember any information we have regarding this image, myself included at this time, is speculation.

That's a very valid point, but if you consider the show coming out "AFTER" beta releases (For all we know, it could be the second to last episode in this season) then he could use it as "I was at the party!".

But Jace is a video game reporter right? He presumably knows that Starcraft 2 is stuck in dev hell. Now I dont doubt that Jace would be willing to play that joke but would Blizzard give him that chance?

no, Bashiok hinted already that we'd want to want the "first two episodes" of the season specifically and wouldn't want to miss them

UPDATE: Facebook for StarCraft and Diablo have been released.... the Diablo update shows information relevant to our thoughts.

Jace Hall stopped by our offices recently to see how the Blizzard magic happens, and despite our very stern requests brought cameras with him to film it. We also think he may have stolen something. In any case you won't want to miss the first two episodes of the new season. (Jace, please return the calls from our legal... council. Thank you.) Season 3.0 of the Jace Hall Show kicks off this Friday, January 29.

This leads to speculation that the first two episodes will be regarding Blizzard. This means that we may know sooner than later. I _THINK_ his format is weekly... but it would be nice for someone to confirm 2 things.

1. When does he claim Season 3 will start
2. Is this a weekly format? Or can we figure out the average episode release based on previous episodes from Season 1/2.

Please remember, that no matter how certain I sound in this post, it's still my speculation, but I'd rather approach it with a plan.

Oh, Jace is a bit more than just a report. He's got a solid history in producing and is current acting Chief Executive Officer of Monolith Productions. Not to mention he's one of the guys who founded the company...

I've worked with people who've worked with him, all I hear is great things. Another thing that they've said is that he's a marketing genius. He started this show as something he always wanted to do as he's a pretty fun guy. (Second hand info)
