I mean if my source ends up having lied, then I really do deserve it and I have no problem accepting the proper punishment, but it should be noted I didn't make this source up. In an hour (give or take 15 minutes) i'll find out some more info, but right now I still think it's very possible that they are telling the truth.

I honestly don't think anybody outside of Blizzard knows for sure...hell, I'm still not certain if Blizzard themselves know for sure. But even if people here DID know the exact date, as some may claim they do...they're certainly not gonna reveal it to us. People get sued or lose their jobs over such acts, and it's not worth risking gaining any sense of respect with anonymous fans by leaking the knowledge.

We either continue to play the guessing game or wait until an official announcement from Blizzard (or an authorized conduit). Until then, you can guess all you want...but it really is futile and pointless.

It's 7:30pm on a Thursday night in CA. Take a rest. No beta news will reveal itself tonight. It may tomorrow during the Jace Hall show, but that's hours away.

I haven't read all 90 pages, but could you please answer what the significance of an hour is? and i guess, who is your source since you said u told. i never read it anywhere. not name, but more of like employee? just friend? what kinda source.

It's just a matter of when they're launching beta. Which neither of your sources can provide.

So both GG and Gifted really don't have anything credible to provide other than "i MAY know something that MIGHT be worth something, but i can't say"

First, I would suspect that when you speak as "No one cares" you are actually speaking upon your own behalf. This is typically the verbiage of someone who is trying to "entice a person to make a mistake, releasing information because they are challenged" or "someone who wishes to sound more powerful as contributor to a conversation" as you are no longer speaking for yourself, but rather, the unseen mob. Whether you realize you were doing this, it's classic PR 101. ^_^

To that, I simply say that in post 1 I quickly stated what this thread was about, including a disclaimer about the potential stress it could cause on your emotions. I put that disclaimer there because I can't just "grab information" from thin air. It's not fabricated and has restrictions upon it's sharing at this time. It's also important that nowhere in there did I state "I will bring beta release information to the table".

If you want "Beta release information" as it breaks, you'll probably find it news page as soon as we know officially, or hear about it all over if it's unofficial. If you truly don't care about the "viral hints", then I invite you to participate with all of the other wonderful discussions in our community.

I have a suspicion the Jace Hall show won't reveal anything, but that conference will. Still, I agree with you on the whole guessing game thing. I just commented because I was curious what was classified as a F&F beta, since I've never really heard the term anywhere else. Only StarCraft II man, only Blizzard...
