Well, anyone doubting that there will be a F&F beta, there has been one for every single blizzard game.

I personally didn't think there would be one too until my source assured me there would be one, then informed me it started today.

Friends and Family is NEVER a beta. It's always an alpha and has always been this way at blizzard.

So it goes to show you have ZERO idea what goes and neither does your "source"

Which is who? Your other personality? Seriously come on. Gifted has already clarified for us. As soon as Gifted posted you started backpedaling. Everything is from your "source". Well that's convenient to have a "source" to blame things on.

I admit Gifted's post has shaken my trust slightly in my source, I still don't think it's out of the question that he is wrong and there is some misunderstanding on Gifted's part (at least I hope so for my sake)

I am not blaming anything on my source, I've said from the beginning my information is from my source, and in posting this as information from a source, I was well aware of the possibilities that my friend could have lied to me, and I am willing to accept the consequences that should befall me for posting this without certainty.

I don't think they're called betas though. There are builds, which I believe employees can carry around. But when you say F&F beta, I thought that implies its a candidate for the beta, and the reason it goes F&F first (I thought) was for stress test reasons. I never called that a beta though.

Also FYI if someone had you sign an NDA you would know. They would make sure you knew what you were signing because it would defeat the purpose if you didn't. I doubt this source of yours exists. Also, is it just me or has this topic gone a little off topic?

FnF is always an Alpha. Which is a pre-beta state. It's done to let friend and family test out the game before beta goes live and get last minute things launched. It's more of "beta setup" then an actual test
