games bore me so much lately. I dunno how anyone can play things like Mass effect 2 or MW2, they just are so slow and boring. Halo 2 multiplayer was the last non-RTS style game that I played for more than a week, it was fast paced and competitive, playing MLG rules or even just high level ladder. MW2 and other "army" games you move so slow, I cant take it.

On my list, its just Heroes of Newerth until SC2 comes, then thats about it. Other than running thru old RPG games on the DS (FFIII, Chrono Trigger, etc) but I only play those out of sheer boredom and when I cant take sitting near a computer anymore.

People prefer different types of games.
Some like it slow with a deep storyline etc...
Other prefer it fast with action and one liners...

Scientists measure a second as the duration of 9,192,631,770 periods
of the radiation corresponding to the transition between the two hyperfine
levels of the ground state of the caesium 133 atom.
Or the duration of 9,192,631,770 matches where David Kim crushes you head to head in StarCraft 2

Okay, this is probably a stretch, but...

There are eight people around the table in the Jace Hall video. I wonder if one of them playes as zerg and won..?

    Did they eat pizza???

But thats another thing, when I played thru the first few parts of MW2, it had no story. I mean, hell you start stranded in the jungle after a planecrash or something.. how cliche is that for your run of the mill FPS game? Didnt Silent Filter and like 30 other games already do that? The storyline wasnt grabbing at all.

I dont see how that game got popular, Only logical explaination I can come to is the Hype ball started rolling, and once afew famous media people mentioned it, it took off from there. The game itself is just another copy FPS, no different than any other CoD or Rainbow six or etc.
