He's setting the expectation just so people don't get annoyed, which I can't say I blame him. I don't believe anybody here knows exactly when it'll drop (please correct me if I'm wrong, and "sometime next month" doesn't suffice for an answer). So while the signs are showing further progress towards the beta, the reality is we could still be anywhere from one day to 2 months out. Might as well expect later rather than sooner, since Blizzard evidently still has no plans on communicating their motives with their audience, and we've already been burned countless times before.

We know one thing, and that's the fact that tomorrow they'll be airing the first episode of the Jace Hall show...which is pretty much guaranteed to be covering Blizzard to a certain extent. So even if tomorrow brings further silence from Blizz, that should still give us something to discuss (or rage about, should it end up being the case).

I will say, beta is coming soon, no one outside of Blizzard knows when but I would be surprised to see it this week. watch the Jace show and we shall see what happens after that.

Jace Hall show isn't going to reveal the beta. It's not going to unveil the 5th class for D3. It's not going to be anything more than simple entertainment.
