Run through it backwards. Put yourself in certain posters shoes and look at what would cause them to post the way they post.

Boss, the why just anchors things down. It's a filter, I agree. If the intent was to mislead, then there's no definite answer. If however it was to "enlighten" then it sheds light to current events (status quo) and thereby allow us to gather some kind of intuitive feel of what's going on.

The question is, is it something the community will be happy about? We've gotten this answer, right? It's a yes.

Let's not go down that road. I believe it is to "enlighten" because Gifted said it. I have no doubts about his credibility or good will. Therefore, I must believe "to enlighten" as his motive to be true.

That parts harder to figure out. Instead look at posting patterns specifically enviromental stimuli that activate certain posters. Like really you have to distance yourself from this whole thing to see it.

A major part of the new Battle.net is the addition of cross game (and cross WoW realm) chat, friends list, etc. Managing the friends list is thought to be done at the B.net account level.

Having *not* just gone into my B.net account, I didn't see anything new for managing these new cross-realm or even cross-game functions. But, I'm looking forward to them!

I remember this! I actually followed the thread and remember they put up a timer on the front page counting down to his ban. Was def. a 10/10 experience...made me forget about no beta and laugh.

the why, which is a known in this case (or at least eliminated down to a set of possibilities), provides absolutely no insight into the real truth (in this situation). you're taking it as an absolute way to find the truth in a situation when it isn't.

the real truth probably won't be revealed by the "what's" here either because the clues are all so vague, ambiguous, and over-general that it would take a supercomputer to analyze the numerous different ways they could be rearranged and interpreted (and even if you found out each one of these possibilities, there would be no way of knowing which one is the actual truth unless Gifted were to admit you were right - something he can't do anyways. he would only provide more clues requiring more induction and even greater uncertainty)

Yes boss. I concurred-ed. Also, when we distance ourselves, we must keep in mind that our motives of investigation might make objective observations inaccurate.

All I see when distancing myself is this:
